Aura is Cam and Erich. We serve the GTA and Hamilton, home base is Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga, and one of us is at almost every event we book.

Why we started
We spent years taking photos at other people's events. Weddings, parties, work things. What we noticed was that the photos people actually kept were not the formal ones. They were the ones where four people crammed into a frame and pulled a face.
So we built the booth we would have wanted at those events. A proper camera instead of a tablet, studio strobes instead of a ring light, a printer fast enough that nobody waits, and a person running it so the host never has to think about it again after they have paid.
We are two best friends, not a franchise and not a family business. That matters mostly because there is nobody between you and the people who will be at your event. The quote comes from one of us, and one of us shows up.
A proper photo of the two of us is on the list. Until it exists we would rather show you this than a stock image of two people who are not us.
How we work
What you can expect
The same on every job, whether it is a backyard sixtieth or a downtown gala.
We reply within the hour
Between 7am and 11pm, every day. If you send a date at 8pm on a Sunday you will hear back that night.
We arrive early
About an hour before the booth opens, so setup is done and quiet before guests are in the room.
We run it ourselves
An attendant on every attended package, on site for the whole rental, working the line rather than watching it.
The price is the price
No per-print charge and no design fee. Any travel fee is on the first quote, never added later. What you agree is what is on the invoice, plus HST.
Insured and paperworked
Liability insurance, COIs for venues, PO numbers and vendor forms for schools and corporates.
We will tell you no
If two hours is not enough, or the space will not work, or we are not the right vendor, you will hear that before you pay rather than after.

Who runs Aura?
Cam and Erich, two best friends. One of us is at almost every event. If you text the number on this site, you get one of us, not a call centre.
How long have you been doing this?
Between us we have years of photography and event work behind the booth, which is why the lighting setup looks the way it does rather than being whatever came in the box.
Are you insured?
Yes, full liability insurance, and we issue certificates of insurance naming your venue at no charge. Most venues want a week or two of notice.
Do you book more than one event a night?
No. We book one attended event per slot. We would rather run one event properly than two badly, which is also why one of us is at almost every booking rather than a hired hand.
Where are you based?
Home base is Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga. Travel is included across Halton, which is Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills, plus Hamilton and Mississauga. Toronto and the rest of the GTA carry a flat travel fee that we quote up front, and most Toronto venues land between $50 and $100. Niagara is a flat fee too, quoted with your price.
