Oakville events tend to split two ways. There are club and golf course receptions where the room is beautiful and the lighting is dim, and there are corporate nights in conference space where the lighting is fine but the room is flat. The DSLR and studio strobes handle both, which is the whole reason we do not use a tablet camera.
Travel is included across Oakville, Bronte and Glen Abbey. We arrive about an hour early, set up in a 10 by 10 footprint, and one of us runs the booth the entire time.
Prices here are the prices everywhere. $550 for 2 hours, $650 for 3, $800 for 4, plus HST. The digital self-operated booth is $350 if you have a smaller room and no need for prints.
Venues we know
Real venues in and around Oakville where an open-air booth fits comfortably.
Oakville has a lot of private club and estate weddings that never show up on a venue list. If yours is one of those, tell us the address and we will work out the load-in with your coordinator.
Clubs and coordinators. Several Oakville clubs want a vendor list and a certificate of insurance ahead of the date. We carry liability insurance and can have a COI issued with your venue named. Give us a week or so of notice.
Bronte and the harbour. Harbourfront rooms are lovely and windy. If any part of the booth is outdoors we want a tent or a covered patio, because a backdrop stand in an open lake breeze is a bad idea.
Corporate nights. Oakville office parties usually run 2 or 3 hours of booth time with a branded start screen and a logo on the strip. That is the Essential or Signature package plus a branded design, which we include.

What arrives
The same kit whatever the venue and whatever the length you book.
A DSLR with studio strobes, not a tablet and a ring light. Skin looks like skin, and a dark room stops being a problem.
2x6 strips as fast as guests can take them, 4x6 prints if you prefer the bigger format. Printed on proper photo stock in about ten seconds.
Guests send their photos, GIFs and boomerangs to their own phone by text, email or QR code before they leave the booth.
Someone from Aura runs the booth the whole time, keeps the line moving and helps guests who have never used one.
We design the strip and the start screen around your names, date, colours or logo, and send a proof before the event.
We arrive about an hour early and pack down after. None of it counts against your booth hours.

Almost certainly. The venues listed on this page, such as The Oakville Club and Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre, all have rooms where an open-air booth fits comfortably. Send us your venue name and we will tell you straight away whether the space works.

Yes, with shelter over the booth, shade on the backdrop and an outlet within 25 feet. A tent, gazebo or covered terrace is enough.
Within the hour, between 7am and 11pm. Send the date and the venue and we reply with availability and a price. A 25% deposit holds the date and the balance is due after the event.
Travel is included across Halton, which is Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills, plus Hamilton and Mississauga. Toronto and the rest of the GTA carry a flat travel fee that we quote up front, and most Toronto venues land between $50 and $100. Niagara is a flat fee too, quoted with your price.
