Information we collect
We collect what you give us directly, which is normally through a quote form on this site, a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, an email or a phone call. That usually means your name, email address and phone number, plus details about your event such as the date, the event type, the venue or city and which package you are asking about, and anything else you choose to put in the message.
We also collect some technical information automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, device information, which pages you looked at and how you arrived. That comes from cookies and similar tools, described below.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and send you a quote
- To talk to you about your event and manage the booking
- To schedule staff and equipment for your date
- To improve this website and how we run events
- To measure how our advertising performs
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand traffic and measure conversions, and the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance for Facebook and Instagram. When you submit a form, an event may be sent to Google and to Meta recording that a lead happened. That event does not include the contents of your message.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalisation through your Meta ad preferences and your Google ad settings.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms
If you submit an inquiry through an instant form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects that information and passes it to us so we can follow up. Meta's own privacy policy governs their handling of it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- Web3Forms, which delivers the quote form to our inbox
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Our email and scheduling tools, used to reply to you and manage your booking
- Google and Meta, for the advertising and analytics described above
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Aura, our clients or others.
Event photos
Photos taken in the booth belong to the people in them and to you as the host. We deliver the full gallery after the event. We only use a photo from your event in our own marketing if you tell us we can. If you have already said yes and change your mind, email us and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer your inquiry, run your booking and meet our legal and accounting requirements. If you want it deleted sooner, email us using the address below.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Email contact@auraphotobooth.ca. Marketing emails also carry an unsubscribe link.
Children
This website and our services are aimed at adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top of the page changes. It is worth checking back occasionally.
