Why the line matters most
At a wedding, a slow photo booth is a shame. At a prom it is the whole thing. Three hundred students who all want a strip, in a three hour window, with a dance floor competing for their attention. If the booth takes a minute per group the queue dies and so does the booth.
So the setup is built for throughput. A DSLR fires fast, the printer turns a 2x6 strip around in about ten seconds, and the attendant is there to pull the next group in while the last one is still collecting. Students also text themselves the digital copy, which they do while waiting rather than after.
For most proms that means three hours is the right booking, which is Signature at $650. If your grad class is large, the fourth hour is $150 and it is worth it. All three lengths are on the packages page.

Common questions
Do you invoice the school directly?
Yes. We invoice the school or the student council, work with a PO number if your board needs one, and can supply a W-9 equivalent or vendor form.
Can the strip have our crest or prom theme?
Yes, included. School name, crest, prom theme and year on the strip and on the start screen, with a proof for student council to approve first.
How many students can get through?
A print lands in about ten seconds and the attendant keeps the line moving, so a busy three hour prom typically runs 150 to 250 sessions with several students in most of them.
Will the attendant supervise what gets printed?
Yes. They run the booth the whole time, manage the queue and follow the school's content guidelines. Nothing prints unsupervised.
What does a prom cost?
Essential is $550 for 2 hours, Signature is $650 for 3 and is the usual choice for a prom, Ultimate is $800 for 4. An extra hour is $150. All plus HST.
How far ahead do we need to book?
Spring fills up. Most GTA proms confirm three to six months out. A 25% deposit holds the date and the school is invoiced for the balance after the event.
Is there a travel charge to our school?
Travel is included across Halton, which is Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills, plus Hamilton and Mississauga. Toronto and the rest of the GTA carry a flat travel fee that we quote up front, and most Toronto venues land between $50 and $100. Niagara is a flat fee too, quoted with your price.
