When to open the booth
The most common mistake is opening the booth too early. Cocktail hour feels like the obvious slot, but a third of your guests are still parking and the rest are finding their seats. The booth sits quiet and you have spent an hour of your rental on it.
What works is opening as dessert clears and running through the first stretch of dancing. People are loose, the speeches are done, and the line forms on its own. Three hours from that point covers almost every wedding we do, which is why Signature at $650 is the package most couples book.
If your guest list is over about two hundred, add the fourth hour. At that size a three hour booth leaves people out, and the extra hour is $150. Full detail on all three lengths is on the packages page.

A real camera and real light
A DSLR with studio strobes, not a tablet and a ring light. Skin looks like skin, and a dark room stops being a problem.
Unlimited prints
2x6 strips as fast as guests can take them, 4x6 prints if you prefer the bigger format. Printed on proper photo stock in about ten seconds.
Instant sharing
Guests send their photos, GIFs and boomerangs to their own phone by text, email or QR code before they leave the booth.
An attendant on site
Someone from Aura runs the booth the whole time, keeps the line moving and helps guests who have never used one.
Your design on every print
We design the strip and the start screen around your names, date, colours or logo, and send a proof before the event.
Delivery, setup, teardown
We arrive about an hour early and pack down after. None of it counts against your booth hours.
White backdrop, or the flower wall
The clean white studio backdrop is included and it is what makes the lighting flatter people. The flower wall is $100 on top and doubles as a photo spot for guests who never get in the booth. There are fitted colour backdrops as well, and a custom-printed wall in your colours starts at $250.

Common questions
How much is a wedding photo booth?
Most couples book Signature, $650 for 3 hours plus HST. Essential is $550 for 2 hours and Ultimate is $800 for 4. Every one includes the attendant, unlimited prints, the custom strip design and setup.
How far ahead should we book?
For a Saturday between May and October, six to nine months is sensible. Off-season and midweek dates are usually open much later, and we can sometimes take a wedding with a week of notice. A 25% deposit holds the date and the balance is due after the wedding.
When should the booth be open?
The end of dinner through the first hour of dancing is the sweet spot. Opening during cocktail hour sounds good but half your guests are still arriving. Three hours from the end of the meal covers it for most weddings.
Can the strip have our names and date?
Yes, and it is included. We design the 2x6 strip and the start screen around your names, your date and your colours, and send a proof before the wedding. See the photo layouts page for examples.
Do you have a flower wall?
Yes, $100 on top of any package. The white studio backdrop is included and is what most couples end up using. There are fitted colour backdrops too. All of them are on the backdrops page.
Do you charge travel to our venue?
Travel is included across Halton, which is Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills, plus Hamilton and Mississauga. Toronto and the rest of the GTA carry a flat travel fee that we quote up front, and most Toronto venues land between $50 and $100. Niagara is a flat fee too, quoted with your price.
How much space do you need at the venue?
About 10 feet by 10 feet and a 120V outlet within 25 feet. We bring the booth, lighting, backdrop and prop table. Your venue does not need to provide anything else.
Do you do outdoor weddings?
Yes, with shelter and shade. A tent, gazebo or covered terrace works. Direct sun on the backdrop makes every photo worse, and rain and electronics do not mix.
Can we get a guestbook?
Ask us to double-print. One strip goes in the book with a note beside it, one goes home with the guest. There is no charge for it.
