Local notes
Parking and load-in. Most Burlington venues let us pull up to a side door. Downtown around Brant Street and the Performing Arts Centre is tighter, so we arrive earlier and cart the kit in. Either way, setup is done before guests arrive.
Outdoor events. Backyard parties along Lakeshore and in Roseland are common in July and August. We need shelter, shade and an outlet within 25 feet. A tent or a covered patio is enough.
Timing. Burlington receptions usually want the booth open from the end of dinner through the first hour of dancing. That is the 3 hour Signature package more often than not.
